Single Board Computer (SBC) Baseboard

Design of a SBC baseboard for Computer On Module (CoM) based on Freescale i.MX6 processor implementing HDMI, LVDS LCD, Gigabit Ethernet, USB OTG, 4 x USB 2.0, 4 x RS232, Micro-SD and I2C interfaces.

E-Band Wireless Point-to-Point Link

Hardware design of 8-bit microcontroller based boards for the system down- and up-converters.
The controller boards produced analogue control voltages for frequency multipliers and variable attenuators as well as implemented power amplifiers bias control functions. Various supply voltages and currents were monitored and reported over serial communication interface through a third communication controller board (also 8-bit microcontroller based).
Embedded software development in C and a control PC GUI software development using Embarcadero C++ Builder.

GPS Tracking Device

Hardware design of a tracking device based on a GSM/GPRS phone module with GPS and 8-bit microcontroller for system monitoring and battery charger functions.
Development of the unit microcontroller embedded software in C.

Smart Network Camera

A high-resolution camera with Ethernet interface based on Xilinx Spartan-3 FPGA and a 32-bit ETRAX network processor.
Schematic capture and PCB layout for the camera boards.
Development of the camera FPGA image processing code implementing a Video Motion Detection with a programmable Region of Interest.
